Let go and Let God

Image
There will always be fear strong enough to stop you from attempting anything,  but YOU MUST BE WILLING TO LET GO AND LET GOD. Hear all people and all nations. It's not strange that fear has crippled so many people,  and a number of them have travelled to a world of no return,  just because of fear. I need you to know that you can overcome fear, but you must first have a way of doing it and the way is no other than being so acquinted with the identity of you and what you're capable of doing. Arise,  oh you who hasn't known that the omnipotent God has given you power. Power to help not only you but everyone around you to stand. As He fights your battles you must embrace your identity. You must affirm beyond every iota of doubt that you're unstoppable, victorious,  prevailing over all cirmustances. Break out of that cage of fear, let an army rise from those dry bones. Let's all know we can do it. We can do it. We can do it. Never on our own, but with God, I wil...

We must kill this monster

Image
Hey you, take your position I beg your attention Let’s break this tension It isn’t beyond comprehension It sprung from frail roots But now we see the shoots And better still the fruits What we watered booms! Kill racism, we say Yet, the more we sway We wanna kill mother enemy While we feed the enemy I’m this clan, you’re this clan I’m this tribe, you’re this tribe You’re this colour, you’re this color You’re from east, I’m from west Hey you, who said? Generalization, generalization Who made you our concentration? You have brought alienation Given birth to overprotection Bred corruption and division Then multiplied enemity For every clan, for every tribe For every race, for every country For every being, with(out) armory There’s a monster, seeking a super star But who, is the mother monster? Our judgemental attitude! Has risen to high altitude Brought division to a multitude We must kill this monster I’m no...

The turnaround

The week in its beauty of seven days Laid a significant sign that seventh day That was realized in the seventh hour of the night! As she looked through the ceiling of her hut She noticed something so strange So the ceiling was also an obstacle And probably an obstacle to her prayers So that when she commanded every obstacle in her life to flee It also fled for the sake of its safety Now she can count the stars And the beauty of seven is still represented As the big dipper send a reflection to her mind The clouds gathered merrily It was a sign of heavy downpour And at the count of  the seventh star The miracle turned an oracle The clouds couldn't hold the weight any more With its arms highly lifted up It let its content find the better option The first drop hit her open eye And as she rose to strangle the 'devil' to death She hit the wall of her bedroom And a soft voice filled the room Forgive seven, times seventy times There she rememberd the reveng...

Robbed from within

Image
I keep on fighting the voices within my sinking self I keep on reminding them that I long let go but see Isn't it the naked lie to a blind eye? I hid my tears for long until they washed my make up I'm now the real me that ought to be then When you were the all I needed  but I were the least you wanted So I thought of an added tint I overdid it until I won your eyes I hear they called me attention seeker But isn't that what you let me be? Now it's the vice versa You are the all I need  but I am the least you want If not for the sake of the little angel Then just for my heart's sake Let's forget the lies we made to each other Let's forget the wasted past in pleasing each other Let's forget the history and Mark a new beginning Let's bring back the love we once developed Let's see the future that we envisioned then together Let our case be a lesson learned for the sake of the aspiring couples Let's remind them that true love ...

Unethical Legacy

On a fatefully fine Friday evening I opened the Bible and begun reading 'Remember not the former things Nor consider the things of old For behold I'm doing a new thing...' Wasn't that ordinarily odd? Especially for such a broken being? New things were happening each day Things that only reminded me of yesterday Things that mercilessly pierced my wounded heart While no one, absolutely none, ever gauged the level of the hurt My hurting heart always received a blow after another every new dawn And all that I had nearly elapsed, and the blows knocked me down So how could I even give a dime of my articulated art? To a people that can't afford a purported pay And all they wish for me is a crooked way? I figured through the crucifictional course of events Cold sun, bright nights, dark days Everything was seemingly on the wrong side And the void in my heart was growing so wide I longed for the long gone days and wished I could sweep away the solicited...

THE MEMORIES

Dear love, I was never taught how to care too much I was never taught how to find a perfect match I was never taught how to open my heart's latch I was never taught how to cry for a fish that I can't catch Until your presence in my life turned a clutch I remember that cold convincing evening When we met while it was still raining You sympathised with my shivering And without caring who could be watching Let me be on your sweater's warming For a long time we had less to share But the little we shared cleared the air Of my troubled moment I made you aware Because your single word bred a peace so rare And my emptiness was always filled with your care I would wonder why we were never worried By the fact that we just journeyed But the destination could be varied Until our addresses were copied And together we were ferried In your arms I found a haven And never cared what could happen Until the day I received the news at seven That you had paid a visi...

THE REVENGE NIGHT

He woke up unusually angry There was no good morning It must have been a bad day So as the cock was crowing He couldn't count on the Lie That he can extend the sleeping She noticed the confusion But chose to remain silent For he always took on action Even on jokes that are eminent So how could she question his reaction? Without any thoughtfully helping intend? He left the house without a breakfast A good bye that morning was unheard But after undoing his outfit at first He believed he was good to go ahead On his casual whose option was always last Whatever idea that he had in his head She just assumed that it wouldn't last He took home in his pocket that night A new knife that was expensively bought Purposely for a role that was never right In his mind was the battles he had hardly fought While her concern was what he exactly brought What he found was a readily resounding  rebuke The table neatly arranged prior to his arrival The candles burning br...
