Courageous girl

I will walk through that same street

Where darkness, pain and tears reside

Not as the girl who hid behind her fears

but as the girl He whispered into her ears

That very day she just thought,

"Maybe I didn't deserve the trophy"

"You do darling daughter", He said

Just not the kind you so madly want

Why would you choose the silver-crown

When you can have the golden crown

Your feet are worn, but you have won

Reach out, for what is yours

I'll walk through that same street

With the armory He gave me

Fear not, for I am with you

I'll strengthen you,

The thorns may Pierce you,

But you will not be destroyed

Darkness will find you

But you will not get lost

The pain maybe excruciating

But you will not break a bone

I'll walk through that same street

Not as the girl who hid behind her fears

but as the girl He brought out of slavery

When she wondered how

She could get away with the chains

Then he said, "Why would you get away

With the chains, When you can walk away from them?"

I'll walk through that same street

I'll walk away from the chains

I'll reach out for the golden crown

I'll walk with him, in him

I'll win through him

I'll have everything,

Everything he has

In store for me
